I read this on Forum and was very important for me know before buy the game.

and I see also the Demo is Starforce Protected.

I never buy this game caused is impressive 5 mins check for authenticate the DVD ...
Codemaster **** people with soldiers Heroes of world war 2 and Toca Race driver 2 , and now like **** again with Colin mc rae rally 2005 with all the problem which starforce does to the PC.

I don' t think peoples like this so...... (**** Codemaster and **** Starforce).
Now my money will be safe :D .

See on the bright side! The more they use the protection, the more are the chanses that it get cracked!

Sims2 protection really sucks too coz with the original disc I get the emulation error, too. But I have uninstalled Alcohol and Daemon tools and have no other soft for emulating CDs.

So Sims sucks, EA sucks, Starforce sucks, Codemasters sucks.

I dont know if it was that hard when safedisc was developed. Was it?

I don't want and will not buy games which are protected by Starforce or Safedisc because I'm forced to have CD in my Drive and wait until I can play the game after 5minutes of checking or wait for some error messages...

Have no clonecd, only Nero, thats all which I installed what has to do with burning.

I had these keys in my registry now i reinstall sims :)

tbh toca RD2 cop protection works well - works fine on all the machines I have seen try to run it, no probs with it whining that I have emulation software installed, even tho nero, daemon and alcohol are installed on my pc

and come on!! its only £17.99 from play.com(was at the time I bought it!!)

yes I also agree that Race Driver 2 doesnt complain about emulation software but doom3 does! Also some other games like to complain about emulation software when using the original discs therefore they give us no choice but to search for the NoCD cracks! Stupid on the gamemakers behalf really!!
And yes go buy Race Driver2, its well worth the money!! You wont be dissapointed, my steering wheel stays permanately connected! :D

Though I cannot agree in principle with the unsanctioned installation of drivers by this software (Starforce), I have installed Toca 2 and had it running for a short while and so far have not actually had any untoward occurances... YET! It would certainly be helpfull if some one knowledgable in this matter were to clarify exactly what these drivers do. Pehaps the paranoia is unwarranted.

No I cant say I've had any problems and I have had Race Driver 2 (or Toca 2) installed on my machine since it was released. And lovin it!! :p

im emulating the sims 2 with daemon tools and dont get an error, and grumpy, we gotta have a toca rd 2 game some time :) (V8 preferably)

I'll take you up on that one day in the very near future, I'm currently looking for a good Broadband account! One that doesnt charge to much!
