A Problem with MVC1: Please read very strange!

Hey I was going about to change the music in my mvc1, and when I put the disc in I noticed something very strange:

1. There is no 1st_read.bin file
2. There is no ip.bin file
3. There are a couple bin files but you can't tell which are adx!

This games boots up perfectly in my dreamcast by the way. Any ideas what to do or is this out of everyones league?? I hope I might get an answer this time.

Use my tool to get 1st read file's name (it might be different from "1st_read.bin"). Otherwise, it might be hidden.
Use my other tool to extract ip.bin.

OK Thanks I'll take a look around for your tools and also, would you have a tool that searches out the adx/music files in the game? I have tried opening a lot of them with cinepack but it doesnt load.

1 more question while your still looking: Do you have a tool that will find the cd001 string in bin files that you can use in XP???

Thanks again man.

EDIT: Sorry if I sound like a baffoon but which of your tools get the 1st_read.bin filename???

EDIT2: Never mind I found it. Now If Only I could find a way to find all the cd001 strings....

OK I got past those problems but a new one has arised:

I find the bin files with cd001

I open it with Hex Workshop, I find the cd001 text string, but the 5B2E text string that I am looking for (yes the lba is 11701 I haven't lost my mind yet) is not there. sometimes there is A600 already, and sometimes there is just nothing.

Any tips???

overcame this problem too (thx for the help guys)

last thing I need to know: how do you identify the adx files when there are none in a backup (other than opening all the files 1 by 1 in cinepack)
