Weird Doom3 Load Error

Anyone get this message when Doom 3 is loading?

LoadTGA( textures/bigchars.tga ): Only type 2 (RGB), 3 (gray), and 10 (RGB) TGA images supported

Looks like a video card error? I have the latest drivers on my Ti4200.

Anyone know?
