Doom III, i can't open these files...
 

Hi,
I live in Europe and i have pre-ordered Doom3 but i couldn't wait so i downloaded it first (this game arrives in 2 weeks so :s), well i've got this Doom III (1 of 3),Doom III (2 of 3),Doom III (3 of 3), they're all *rar files and i cannot open them with winRAR (an error thing appears, about "no files being there", something like that) and Daemon tools doesn't do anything eather... pls i need help.

Just be patient and stay off those warez boards/ftps :D

lol, but then i downloaded 1.8 gig for nothing and my download-meter is already at 70% (at 100 i'm at smallband) so ... i'd like to get it work to work :p

EDIT: isn't there a tutorial for this stuff, cause i normally don't download warez and stuff, so i am kind of a noob :s

IMo this isnt warez-board... Google it, answer is in there!

paardenman you're going to get yourself banned, you cant have a copy of the game without owning the original. and if you owned the original you could backup that, so theres no need to download it.
making a post like that is openly stating that you're commiting a criminal offence, this board is legit and its against the rules to make posts about things like that - rules are there for a reason, so the whole board doesnt get shut down because of people using warez

to actually help you with your question "no files being there" probably means theres a file missing or corrupt. all i can suggest is that you missed a file out when downloading, or one failed when downloading but still looks like its there, or you got it from an unreliable source
