Help a newbie out...
Ok im thinking about getting an xbox and when i get one i want to chip it asap. i allready have a ps2 that i chipped myself and basically heres what i want to know about the xbox.........
whats the best chip for the xbox and any hints as to where i can buy one- i only have dvd+r, the xbox can read those right? (i know the ps2 has to be a certain version) what programs do you use to make the backups, can i use RNM the same way i make ps2 backups? much appreciated and feel free to add anything else i might want to know about chipping the xbox thanks sublime |
since u put the chip in urself
i figure u can solder go for the x2 lite get the 4981.06 bios up the hdd to whatever size below a 250 that u want (if u want.. u can always burn them instead) download evox, boxplorer, ftp client, and xmbc from xbins |
yeah i can solder no problem, how many wires does the x2 lite have? and whats the stock HD on the xbox, how many GB?
|
stock HD is 8gb, 10 if you have a seagate (but you must reformat F).
All chips basically have the same wire install since they use the same points. Most usually have no more than 9. only 1 is hard though. |
and im not sure what RNM is, but i would DL alchol 120% trial and use it for burning. it works very good ;)
|
Yes RecordNow Max (RNM) will work for your backup needs on an Xbox.
