Evil Dead 2 / DvdShrink question.
I haven't copied many dvds, so I am still kinda new at this. I usually use DvdShrink and back it up however it has it when it is done reading the disc.
When I put Evil Dead 2 in the burner and run dvd shrink, it is still too large for a 4.7g dvd when it is compressed as much as it can be. Any suggestions on what to do? Like, which of the audio choices would be ok to uncheck without messing it up? Or maybe another program? Thanks |
If you can live without DTS then get rid of that. Otherwise you can use a different dvd compressor like Clonedvd2.

Thanks Tyler, but I could not find a DTS. Here are the three audio things that are under Main Movie:
1. AC3 5.1-ch English 2. AC3 2-ch English 3. AC3 2-ch English - Director's Comment I assume 1. would be the same as DTS?? or some kind of surround sound...I'm still learning... If I removed that, I would probably have enough room. The smallest it can shrink it to is 4,689mb, which seems like it would fit on a 4.7g, and the AC3 5.1-ch is like 560mb. If all else fails, I guess I could removed the director's comment and the extras... thanks for helping me out all the time. |
Yeah you can get rid of the 5.1. Only problem is, sometimes the movie starts off with that on so you may need to manually select the regular english sound every time you play the movie, or it will play without sound.
You can get rid of the Directors comments but I always like to keep those and youll find that the Directors comments wont help out your space saving too much. Tyler! |
