Is my live account banned or my Xbox?
 

I got banned form Xbox live nd I was just wondering if I purchased a new account would it work or is my actual system/console banned? Thanks for the help.

The system, more specifically, the eeprom key. The Eeproms usually sell for about 10 USD, which you can reflash onto your xbox.

Being banned due to ignorance would be very unfortunate. All the rules say is not to ask about cracks, serials, where to download ISO's and games. I did not see anything about EEPROM's or whatever the heck it is so instead of hoping I'm bnanned how about helping me out. If it was wrong to ask then just tell me but please don't be angry because I don't have the understanding of modding rules like you.

I would rather use xbconnect because its free but it has lag a lot of the time and also it takes like 30 mins to set up and get into a game. I used to play Halo on there but if you are not the server then you need to shoot like three times ahead of the guy if he is on the run because of the lag...

i use xbconnect, but i play mostly Pandora Tommorow. I haven't tried Halo yet but could it really be that bad? ive hardly had any problems with Splinter Cell and i just went on a 5 day binge since i learned about xbconnect. I freaking hate xblive, forced me to go back to best buy and return the damn card cause i guess i got banned a while back when i was too ignorant to turn off my mod. xblive said it was going to update my msdash, instead it erased my evox and replaced it, only so that i could get banned and never even connect if i wanted to. Damn i hate xbl, what is the point of banning modded systems if they can just use xbc? All they are doing is losing business, think about it, it doesn't make any sense. If someone is out to pirate games does microsoft think not letting them connect to xbl will stop them? They can only profit from letting modded systems on xbl. maybe they do it just to spite me, that's always possible. Thousands upon thousands of dollars... i just don't know
