Code Breaker 8.1 Back Up??
I just got code breaker 8.1 and wanted to back it up. Tried Nero, Ultra ISO, and Alcohol 120%, all have read error, even on the PS2 setting. I've tired to read it on a Pioneer and CD-WR, a standard brand. What do I need to do to unlock this cd to be copied?

i read that u can copy it and theres one file that wont copy when reading it u must make a dummy file of the one that wont copy and it should work the dummy file if a relly big file in size

They use the 'Chinese Copying Method' where they weld their data surface to the boot surface of another disc, i.e.: Crazy Taxi... This is sometimes those discs have game names when you look at the drive through My Computer... I found a really good site on it soemwhere detailing exactly how they did it and how it worked...

I backed up an older version a long time ago. I extracted the files and rebuilt the image, and I believe I had to copy files off the CD in pure DOS mode. Easily done if you have Fat32 drive and A Win98 Setup disk. If your whole drive is NTFS, Winblows XP, you may be s___ out of luck.
You might want to try ISOBUSTER to extract all the files except maybe the corrupt Dummy files that you need to rebuild (rename any large zip file, AVI or whatever) Then make the LBA relative path filelist in the same folder. Then use CDGENPS2 import the filelist, change the volume name and build a new Bin image to burn. |
I know that I had burnt a 6.0 some time ago that someone made a bin file out of it. I there any kind of way to get this CD to back up without ripping it or tweaking the files cause of some dummy files?
