More than one games on a single dvd?
i heard that there is a way to put more than one games on a single dvd-r. can someone tell me the way????
|
The easies way would be with evox, but it doesn't have video preview or anything special like that. Just open up the evox.ini file, change the line:
AutoAddItem "e:\games\" to AutoAddItem "d:\games\" Then put your games in a "games" folder, then burn it to a disk with evox and the edited ini file. If you want something like video preview, then gert a program called "media-x-menu", and the skin you want. Use IsoCraxtion to create the multidisk image. |

@ Quall - is "media-x-menu" better than "microsoft hacked MenuX" ?
|
oh man, it is alot better, but far more complicated. MS's menu has alot of glitches, and can only handle 4 games or so. And if you have 4, alot of the times the games won't even launch.
Media-x-menu provides video previews if you make em, or pictures. Also can display the game logo image, which appears in the savegame menu. It can have a starting movie when it loads up, you can have movies for the backgrounds as an animated menu, and you can have a launching movie. Here you can view some of the skins: http://www.allxboxskins.com/skins/in...?app=MXM&cat=0 It is more or so used for a dashboard replacement now. |
I've not really looked into those kind of apps yet, I will be shortly though :)

I’ve used MXM on a DVD-R, works great, just put it in the root and it detects all your game folders. It was bundled with Craxtion (as Matrix boot) I could not get Craxtion to build an ISO, said not enough space on my drive (I had 16 Gig free) in W98SE and would not work at all in XP? But I saw the multiboot files and tried the MXM, no problems at all. I built the iso with XISO (wich also has some error message when starts but at least it works.
MutiGame DVD-R’s , without a doubt, the easiest Xbox thing I’ve done yet! |
