Does anyone have a 100% *working* Battlefield Vietnam no-cd patch?
 

Hi Guys

Does anyone know of a fully working no-cd patch for Battlefield Vietnam. There are several out there, and I've tried them all, and found each has different problems.

I am *not* looking for a solution using DaemonTools/ Alcohol/ Blindwite etc

Here are the patches listed on GCW that I have tried and the problems encountered:

TECHNIC+FLTDOX (Fairlight): Still requests CD at load. However, it will work with a backup CD image in drive. I have followed instructions serveral times.

FairLight: As stated in nfo, only works on private servers. Data Differs from Server errors on most public servers

iND: no-cd bit works, & loads BFV without CD. Works fine *until* you change server, then you always get 'insert CD', and you then have to reload BFV again.

Razor 1911: As stated in nfo, only works on private servers. Data Differs from Server errors on most public servers




Does anyone have a working BFV using these servers - i.e. no-cd, public servers, and you change change from one server to another? - Which patch are you using? Where did you get it from?

...or perhaps not... I now know why you haven't posted your special 'private' fix - it's because you're trying to pass off iND's crack as your own.

After much complaining on your side, that *you're* doing me a favour, so I should install ICQ, reconfigure my firewall, register and connect so you could send me your unique special private crack... I find out the truth about you...

'Your' crack is nothing more than a repack of the existing crack which can be found on GameCopyWorld as http://dl.gamecopyworld.com/dl.cgi?b...m_crackfix!rar which has been available since mid March - nearly a month.

I did a binary file compare of the two cracks, and they're identical - you even left the original iND nfo file in there...

What a lamer...

I asked him many times both on email ,and ICQ whether he would publish 'his' crack, and now I know why he always said 'no' - because he can't make cracks, just try to pass of others as his own - ooooo - he's a 'courier' - yeah right - OF A PUBLIC, POSTED PATCH.... not that he wants to tell people that.

Do a search for the number of BFV posts for working cracks, and then look for Killer Cop trying to get people to contact him for his 'private' patch - he never refers to it as the iND patch, or that it's on GameCopyWorld / MegaGames

Watch out people, don't trust Killer Cop, he just wants to ride on the kudos of other crack groups, without doing anything himself.

PS: I did not repack! Its the Original File, with the NFO, only renamed it for me....

OK, Killer Cop - then why wouldn't you just say that you had a copy of iND's crack... why all the cloak and dagger - 'contact me, maybe I help' - in all your posts - *NOT ONCE* you have never said you are using, and distributing other peoples patches...

If you read my first post, you'll see I already said that iND's crack doesn't work 100% - and it's reported on other posts it doesn't work 100%... so why did you think your secret/private *repacked copy* of iND's crack would work?? Magic?

You're just wasting peoples time by inflating your own ego, getting them to request fixes from you, which already exist on GCW.

Why don't you just admit you've been caught trying to pass off other peoples cracks... without giving the original author the credit they deserve.

I only wanted to send him a file, but i was not possable because of his firewall....But like i said, i good PC User is able to configure and use his PC. He wasnt...:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I could say that I have a *working* patch (yes, it's a already cracked one, but a bit "modified" by me and "a couple of friends")
and it works.....I was considering to post it public but since seeing this crap....no f'cking way...

So do even bother to ask.
