Ring on Disk...What protection??
 

I've just bought Massive Assault, and noticed a circular ring on the outside of the disk, about 15mm from the edge. What sort of protection is this? I know it has protection, as I can't copy the cd to my HD, let alone back it up!

Please scan the main executable of the game with Protection ID.

Massive Assault is protected with a cd-check only (english version).

So you can see the files but cant copy them? That sounds very odd.

No, and I've tried it on 3 different PC's.

What files can't be copied?
