Hello there. Does anyone has seen this problem? I solderd a alladin advance in a version 1.3 When the xbox boots the lght turns from red to orange only it soesn`t stay orange. If the light is orange it meens the chip is on. But after a sec the orange light turns green and the chip is off. Any halp please.

ok chip works now. The light stays orange onlyu the xbox doesn`t boot games or anything that is written on a recordable
It is not the dvd-rom i tested the dvd-rom on a other xbox

Is the xbox logo orange when you xbox turns on? And uh, what recordable did you use?

btw, what are you booting? The chip never worked for you to make a backup. You didn't do a data disk copy on an xbox game did you?

i have an alladin advance chip in and when it boots it's red orange and then stays green that means the chip is on
i know you have to hold it for two seconds to enable to flash it
and the green light is supposed to flash
just a green light when you boot means the chip is off
hope this helps a little

problem is solved. The version 3 mb i had didn`t had the ground onn the lcp and 1 lcp point didn`t contact very well. The last thing was hard to see sice i solder the chip directly to the mb without wires.
