Madden 2004 4.1.0.0 Fixed EXE/NO CD Problem(s)
 

OK here are the problem(s). I downloaded the No CD/Fixed EXE by Drunk! and every time I quit out of Madden I get a blue screen error dealing with my display driver (Geforce 4 4200) It actually says nv4disp as the error. This did not occur with the original 1.0 No CD, and it doesn't happen if I use the original CD and exe for 4.1.0.0. I've tried multiple drivers 44.03/45.23/45.33/52.16 they all crash with the Drunk! no CD. Now I downloaded the "Fixed EXE" by Deviance 4.1.0.0 and it always asks for the CD anyways. So what exactly is the "FIXED EXE" by Deviance in this executable? The size is different I believe, but other than that it seems to provide the same functionality as the original. I mainly want the no CD feature as I run many different games and hate switching CD's. i.e. Madden, The Sims, Civilization 3, Neverwinter Nights, etc. You get the picture.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to UPDATE you game?

Yes sorry for leaving that info out. I updated the game thru the ingame updater and I had replaced the original mainapp.exe so that it would patch fine.....no errors were reported. Is anyone getting any insert CD message with the Deviance FIXED EXE? The one that DOESN'T say NO CD

I am sure everybody gets this message.
It is a fixed exe, isn't it. So you need a backup in your cd drive to be able to play the game.....

(Fixed exe=Backup needed; No-CD=Play straight from your hd)
