keyboard keys in game vietcong
 

bought the game vietcong,loaded it,went to options to keyboard,set the keys,and saved.started the game okay,but as soon as i went to go forward,it stopped,(not the game)then started to go backwards,same for the backwards key.
the left and right keys were okay.the firing key was ok,which is my left mouse.
so i tried it again,it started to go forward and backwards okay,but only lasted for about 10 seconds.
my other games work okay with the keyboard.
can anyone help me with this problem.thanks.

use the gimpsrus crack, what youre decribing sounds very much like triggers, which virtcong has, so you might well have a bad crack, does the same thing occour with the orignal cd's? what crack are you using.. supply more info

I have had the same problem.
The crack you use is buggy.
Update the game with newest patch und download the crack for that version.

Anyways, as mentioned the very first crack for this game is messed up badly. Triggers left, right and centre, although it was more enjoyable to play the game this way I found. ;)
Patch your game with the latest patch, and then use the latest crack (v1.30?)..

the same thing doesnt occur in the original cdrm,the keys are okay.the no-cd is the 1.0 from razor.
could you tell me where to get the gimpsrus no-cd from please,and can i update it from the cdrom?thanks.

have downloaded the patch and crack,working a treat now,the keys are okaythanks to the other chaps who helped as well.

dont you tell me to get going mate,dont like the tone of your voice.
if you havent got anything decent to say,except sarcasm,well its better to shut your mouth and say nothing,especially when someone is genuine,you want to get your facts straight,and not assume everyone is on the fiddle.
i didnt ask you to poke your nose in with quotes like that,when i need them,ill ask you.im not breaking the rules here,so next time you want to make sure whether someone is genuine or not,instead of jumping the gun,you might even come out with something helpful.

sorry, but mis-behavior of controls, sudden deaths out of nowhere and more funny things while playing vietcong are _very_ often caused by downloaded versions with faulty cracks (which trigger securom).

yep,i accept your apologies,no problem,the only keys i had problem with,was the backward and forward keys,the rest of the keys were okay,and i didnt have any other funny things going on.
i didnt have any problem with running the game with the cdrm,only with the no-cd.i have even got the vietcong brown book in front of me,,with picture of soldier aiming what looks like a long barrelled gun,and a section in red writing saying,"your essential guide to jungle warfare.
there you go,lets put it to rest,more important things in life to worry about,as they say,"its only a game"

yup its only a game, and to confuse you they released two different versions.. the censored and the uncensored version, so of course there are multiple cracks for each version.. make sure you get the right one

The peanut gallery is quick to beat up newbies as they are usually breaking stickie rules on the first post or dont know that theres a search button on the top right of the screen.

Welcome robo135, please help others when you can before the rest of us beat them up for not searching (etc). :)
