Stopped Reading ??
 

Hello

My playstation 2 has stopped reading copied games so im guessing the chip is most likely dead.

It's a stupid Neo chip that i got 2 years ago when i didn't know about any others.

Anyway will it be the chip that is broke or is it just something wrong with the laser or something?

Any ideas would be great.

i know most of you will say get a PS2 with Messiah 2 i would if i could actually afford to buy a new ps2. :D :rolleyes:

You could try a cleaning disc, but the Neo has likely killed your laser. If originals still work, pull out the Neo and sell your ps2 on ebay.

Yeah i could do that, but i would still be without a playstation 2 anyway because i wouldn't have enough to buy a new one and get it chipped with a messiah 2.

Throw in some original games and you would be close.
