dvd's not playing in PS2
 

Anyone know why I can't seem to play my burned dvd movies in my ps2? They will play in my sony dvd player and JVC player but not in my ps2. IM using ritek and dvdxcopy. I have v7 with messiah 2 in it. Is there a way to turn off the chip?

Don't know why it isn't playing but no you can't switch the chip off.

I have a neo 2.2 and my dvd's i make work fine.

Actually yes you can disable the Messiah 2. Just hold the reset button for about 5 seconds while booting.

Bighap, how do I turn back on my messiah chip? How do I know if its on or off?

It turns back on when you restart. It is off if you turn it off. That is really the only way to know. Or put in a ps2 backup and hold reset. It wont load which means it is off.

Insert the backup movie and power it down using the reset button. then when you turn it on wait untill the blue elect light comes on then you can let it go. it will take about 2 or 3 sec. then it should play properly.
