Neverwinter Nights - crashs when i try to talk to people
 

Hi,

i have a minnor realy big problem with the game neverwinter nights (german version). I patchet it via autoupdate to version 1.29 then install the nocd. All run fine ....first it runs fine... than i have tryed a somehow stupid thing - i talked to the first NPC. The game hang off. Ok next try. I patched it manually to v1.29 - nocd - same problem. 1.27 and nocd - the same. So i used the search function here and find out that is might be a generall problem and it should work with v1.20. But thats the problem i cant find the older 1.20 patch and the v.1.20 nocd neither.

Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot for u help.

Have you tried the patches with the original cd ? In other words, is it the cracks that crash or a problem with the patches ? And if it's the patches, maybe you can solve it with a driver update...

its a problem with the cracks - i might think. I have tested it now without crack - it runs. I tested it with nocd crack 1.0 (English one - i cant find a german) it crashes with the same problem. What the hell does this nocd crack exactly to create such a specific error?

Try the critical patch!

That is about 32MB or something... and is it a installshield GUI so it install it self you don't need to install it manual!
Maybe that help!

Becuase it has been very much talk about crashes here before...and I think it solve when you download the critical patch....:confused:
