Vietcong backup (not crack related copy related)
 

Hi all ;) Just a quickie.. I have bought Vietcong (UK) today (sat 19/4/03) as it has just been released. When i scan the disks 1 and 2 it only reports "Dummy files" when using clonyxxl v2.0.0.6
so i am wondering if any one here has made a backup of this game (prefably the UK release as it may have different protection compared to another contrie). If you have was it only "Dummy files" protection ?? If not was protection was it plz ?? Thanks:D

- Install the game
- download Protection_ID V2.1 from http://www.cdkiller2002.tk/
- scan the main-file of the game (VIETCONG.EXE)

So you know the correct Protection of your release.

thnx for the reply..I used to have cdkiller scanner but dont anymore (reformatted and diddnt back it up 1st :( ) His site is down at the moe but i have asked you if you wouldnt mind e-mailing it to me if poss (i have PM you hope you dont mind)

Vietcong is using Securom 4+...
Used Clony XXl to do a search on the disk....Had to install software to hard drive first, before it found the .exe file....
Burnt at 4X on a Liteon using Alcohol 120% with Burn RPMS Selected......No problems whatsoever!!!!!
