Is there a Warcraft 3 ROC crack that allows more saves in LAN game?
 

I was hoping someone could tell me if a crack/patch/cheat exists for Warcraft III ROC that makes it possible for each player to save more than once, as is the current limit, during a LAN game. Obviously, with the instability of LAN games, it's pretty lame when the game crashes frequently and you can each only save once!

If there's no crack, then perhaps someone can offer any other suggestions for how to get around this issue? Thanks for your help!

The only thing I can think of is making sure the game crashes less. Does it crash as much in single player ?

Game does not crash at all in single player... however, there are only two computers playing on the LAN (home network) game on a broadband connection, and one computer is much less stable (older), so it crashes sometimes. Even so, though, it seems pretty weird that Blizzard would limit how often you can save on multiplayer games when they do not limit saves on single player games. I mean, why? Anyway, it would be nice to find a workaround that doesn't involve buying a new computer (since not event that would prevent all crashes)...

It's my experience that ANY pc can get made stable. The problem is finding the cause for those crashes and fix it. I'm not joking, there are almost NO pc's that are inherently troublesome, even the older models. It can be bad memory, an insufficient power supply, bad drivers, a hardware IRQ conflict... But it CAN be solved. And I'm wondering too why you can only save once. Is this mentioned anywhere ? Does the game give a specific message like "Sorry only one save" or something likewise ? I've heard of games where only the host could save...
