PSX Backup Problems
 

I am new to this but I am having a few problems. 1st I am using PS-X-Change2 instead of a mod chip I have a PSone model spch-101. I borrowed some backed-up games from a friend. His games play with no problem w/PSXCHG2. I tried to make copies of his copies and none of mine will work. I am using clone cd and the settings from psxlibcrypt. I have also tried cdrwin, nero and blindwrite. no success with any. the discs when vied in my computer look the same all same files and sizes. the only difference I can see is his discs are on blue cdr and mine have been silver or cd-rws. I am really at a loss here . I can't understand why his copies work but mine dont. I would ask them how they were maid but his uncle made them for him.

it could be a media issue, out of interest the cd-r brands you have tried what were they? you might be better off trying with branded names such as verbatim :)

k hypermedia and memorex are the main brand I use. I am going to try an imation too. Those are the only ones I have on hand. Thanks for the info

tried Imation disk too now and it doesn't work either. Any other suggestions?
