xbox iso tools / multi dvd-r games

As most of you who use this section know i realy don't like the iso method for xbox games.
well that may be about to change thanks to a programme i just found called "iso craxtion-v 12"

this programme allows you to do all the usuall stuff like create and extract xbox iso's however this one differs with this little addition. it allows you to create multi dvd-r iso's.
i tested this with buffy the vampire slayer / the thing / blinx the time sweeper.
i burned the iso to dvd-r using recordnowmax 4.50 using the data option from the wizzard.

the finished disc is extremley impressive i have a 3 game multi xbox dvd-r the select screen looks and operates very well.
you can choose the image and sound used on the game select screen and i realy like it.

any body else used this yet i would realy like to know.

thanks dude, i'm going to give that a go now.

in the mean time check out this site on multigames with evox

http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/evox-multigame2.php

seems really simple but i'm not sure what cyperpunk means by autoadditem in d:\ in my evox.ini
is d:\ a typo and he actually meant c:\ on the xbox and if so would you replace the whole games setion with those commands or just add that to the existing commands.

hi i realy don't know about that,
i don't bother messing about with the evox.ini.

i have just burned a 4 game dvd-r disc with the software i mentioned and it to works perfectley.
i'm still going to stick with the "DATA BURN" method for single game dvd's as i think it is far superior to the iso option. i however am going to use this software to create my multi game discs.
looks like a good compromise to me.

sounds good to me.
i'll most likely end up going that route IF i can get iso craxtion up and running.

I have tried that program and it works...

I burned MK: Deadly Alliance, Spiderman and Blinx. All 3 games load but Spiderman does freeze on the movie after you press start and begin "new game"

What causes movies to freeze?

Onimusha does freeze as well on the movie after you press start and start a new game.

Also both of these games freeze even if I run them off the HD so I'm gessing is not the burning.

Oh one question Dude.

You say you make the multi iso image and then what do you do?

Extract the multi iso image and burn it as data?

Or you choose "DATA BURN" and then select the iso?

Can you select the iso while you are in "DATA BURN" mode?

hi for the multi game iso's i just run recordnowmax 4.50 select data disc from the wizzard and select the iso i wish to burn.
works ok.

as for spiderman and onimusha i have not tried them yet on a multi disc but i do have them both on a standard data burn disc both work perfectley with no problems at all.

i've done 3 multidisks with duds info and all were fine.

-ftp'ed the games
-iso'ed each game with craxtion that would fit on a dvd-r
-then iso'ed those with the multidisk option to make 1 iso
-and i used prassi primo 2.0 (burn iso image, 3rd from the left, not the data burn option)

all came out perfect, even with different themes.

good to know you got it working.
just a sugestion you do not need to turn each game in to a iso first.
simpley save the game in a temp folder as you would for data burn. then select multi disc wizzard and click on add folder the programme will turn these game folders in to one big iso. also i use recordnowmax 4.50 so when i go to burn the finnnished multi iso i select data disc from the wizzard the programme asks if i want to burn the iso on to a data file or some thing simular i press yes. that all there is to it.

update

i have done some extensive testing regarding this programme and have so far created 30 multi game dvd's ranging from 2 to 4 games per disc.
i am still however very unhappy with the iso side of this programme out of 12 multi iso burns i lost 5 so i returned to the tried and trusted data burn method.
once i have created a multi game iso image using craxtion i then use craxtion to extract the iso in to a temp folder and burn the contents as a standard data burn.
i have created 18 succesful burns using the data burn method and only lost i disc mid way.
i know this is the long way round to first create the iso then extract it but i feel this is the best way as the data burn method yields far more succesful results compared to the iso option.

this is just my opinion but i believe it has to be said.
