Which way to go DVD-R or DVD+R?

Need some quick opinions here please.

Just bought the Pioneer DVDA05 (can still be returned), but am now a little concerned about future. Should I be looking at a DVD+ recorder such as the Sony (handles both -R & +R) instead or should I not worry about this? I know quite a few ppl here have the A05 but is the +R format better and will it be taking over in the future?

Please I need some good and honest info quickly to help make this decision.

Keep your A05. -r is much more widely used and supported by many more devices.
