Test Drive backup issue
I'm trying to make a backup of my copy of Test Drive. It's a DVD game and takes up almost 4gig. I'm using Nero and I've tried a direct copy and imaging then burning. It burns just fine with no errors but will not boot on the PS2. When I try, it appears to begin to load (PS2 splash comes up) then goes to a black screen and just sits there.
I've got a Magic31 chip installed and haven't had any problems backing up any of my other DVD games. I'm assuming it's something Atari has done to prevent playing a backup, but I have no idea how to fix it. Any suggestions anyone? |
Nero can have problems with some games. Try PrimoDvd or RecordNow Max.

Cool Thanks, I'll give it a try.
Any special settings I should know about for RecordNow Max? |

It worked perfect! Thanks. The problem was actually that my origional had a scratch and couldn't be read at about the 90% mark, nero just skipped over it but RecordNow pointed it out. After buffing out the scratch it imaged and burnt just fine.
Thanks for the help. |
You bet. Enjoy:)
