Help Charlie Eject light not working
 

I need help from someone who knows what they are
talking about.

I was playing on my PS2 last night, put in an original game
booted up, and the eject light went out......tray won't eject.

Its not the ribbon cable......ps2 will come out of standby
when eject pressed...but no light...no tray movement..black screen.

original game in tray won't boot up, no browser screen
but scart does switch tv when ps2 comes out of standby.

This seems to be a common fault, but no-one has given an anwser so far. I have a v5 and n0-mod fitted. same thing
regardless of no mod in or removed. Ribbon looks fine,
both buttons work but no light on eject button, no tray
movement, black screen.

charlie or anyone please ?????

you have the no soldier mod, right? mine did that too

triple check your ribbon cables dogg, unless your tray motor is dead

Is there anyone in the UK prepared to repair this PS2
and fit a Messiah at the same time????
