no solder v4 mod chip and the irritation of games not loading
 

I just purchased a v4 no solder ps2 mod and installed it correctly along with a copy of swap magic 2, I also borrowed a friends copy of Gameshark 2. I have about 34 games that have been burned, of these only about 20% of them work. These are mostly sharereactor releases as well as things pulled off Direct Connect.

here are a few of the working games that I have:

Klonoa 2
Contra
Frequency
Virtua Fighter 4
SSX Tricky
and a few others

Now here are the games that I really want to get working and will not load:

Rygar
Mortal Kombat
Robotech
Shinobi
as well as others

Now I know how to burn the games, obviously. But I don't know why more than half of these games won't work, especially since I've checked with other people who are using them fine. Any suggestions? Please let me know, I could use the help.

There is a long list of games that the no-solder mod will not boot.

This guy is booting dvdr rips, which the swap magic 2 ain't designed for.

Yeah, i agree with Jay. Direct backups work best with this mod.
