Swap Magic Bootdiscs & PS2 Flip-Lid

Ok guys, as we all know by now there are one or two websites that have ripped people off with their fake bootdiscs for the PS2 (yeah - I was one of those suckers who was ripped off until I complained to CCNow & got my money back).

Anyway, I have been up and running for some time now retailing the Swap Magic Bootdisc package consisting of one disc to play your cd-r backups & one for playing your dvd-r backups (can use both for imports too).

I am also an official reseller of the new PS2 Flip-Lid which I should have in stock on or before the 12th December - which enables you to use the Swap Magic discs without having to have your PS2 top cover open.

I am currently only stocking the Pal European 2.0 version of swap magic (sorry to all you NTSC peeps). I have also extended FREE delivery to every country worldwide - previously only the UK.

please feel free to check out the site & place your orders:

Congrats on your site and hope you do well....

Have you had any problems or complaints with the boot disc yet...?

There are about 4-5 games that these discs will not boot.....(newer released games). Don't know if it will be a problem with future releases or not...

Thanx BG

Noe, no problems reported, and I am delighted with the volume of orders i have had - been having to re-stock every week!

It seems the majority of peeps have been ordering for the advantage of the DVD boot disc - more and more people are now switching to 1:1 DVD copies rather than mess about with the dvd-rips. I also have a huge lis of pre-orders for the Flip-Lid. Mr & mrs "Average" who buy their PS2 for their children & know nothing about fitting modchips would obviously go for this option.

I am hoping that the next Swap Magc version (which I believe the manufacturers are working on) will iron out the TOC limit problem - so will be able to use for dvd-rips and ps1 games.

Unlke other suppliers, I also offer FREE worlwide postage and I supply in a dvd case with full instructions & colour pictures AND a suprise gift inside:)

Dust, thak you for your views m8. Are you saying that you can fit a messiah 2 without opening a ps2 thus voiding the warranty?

DVD Rips are pants anyhow paticularly when dvd writers are so cheap and easy to do 1:1 copies of. Dvd-rips are crap cos of the need to cut out files thus you are not getting the full effects of the game.

I will agree that internal modchips are the best solution, but if you are mr or mrs average who buys a ps2 for their kids & has not got a clue how to fit a modchip or does not wish to pay a fortune to get one fitted then surely this is the obvious easy answer?

I didn`t post on here to get into a argument on what is the best solution or to have someone start ripping my posts to bits, I posted on here to provide info as there are still some people who have seen fake bootdiscs advertised, and want them to know what does work and what doesn`t - as I was originally stung b the bootdiscworld con trick.
