1:1 copys
just confirming what a 1:1 copy is exactly;
is it where u write the image at the same speed as you read it? |
dude
a 1.1 copy is a exact bite for bite copy of a disc the software for this is clone cd |
dude
sorry for being ignorent dude. i'm pretty new to this my self i mainly just use nero for all my backups with the exception of dvd's for this i use dvd encrypter |
so if i read an image at 4x then burn it at 4x, that is classed as a 1:1 copy?
|
No, it is not
|
In a backup sense the only correct definition is
"A 1:1 copy is that facsimile reproduced on a recordable cd media which will install and run the application stored upon it" However, if you mean in a physical sense, the only true 1:1 copy of a pressed original cd is another, pressed original cd. |
thanks for the clarification
