DVD copy protection (want to output picture to TV but copy protection stops it)

I can't see how a copyprotection can bother you by linking it to your tv? How did you set it up?

I assume you used your video-out using S-video/Composite. What you need to do is set the output-device to TV instead of Monitor. How to do this depends on your Graphics card, but with a Nvidia-card you can just use the display properties for this, or the earliermentioned TVTool.
