I have got a problem with cdrwin 4.00a
On my first pc it has got a Phillips dvd/cd-rw drive
When loading up cdrwin it says

Error: Unable to intialize the ASPI manager
ASPI manager was not found on system

What is this, and can you fix it

Does it only work with 2 drives eg reader & writer

On my second pc It has 2 drives
The reader is fine
But with my Nec Nr -7700A cd burner it does not see it

When going to file backup and tools
It says

No cdrom recording devices where found

But there are, and they both work with nero so it's something
wrong with cdrwin

Is cdrwin 4.00a beta the newest

Is it because that it isn't registered etc

Please help

stick with cdrwin 3.9, I know a few other people that had trouble with the 4.00a version.

you could try updating your ASPI layers on your PC

otherwise use CDRWin 3.9
