Is there any difference between MLB 2002 and MLB 2003 other than updated rosters?

Are Alfonso Soriano (NYY), Ichiro Suzuki (SEA), and Eric Hinske (TOR) in the game?

If not, is it possible to create them and have them look like the real deal or does the create-a-player suck like in Triple Play 2001?

matt,just stop. mlb 2003 is the newest and nothing can make the triple play series come back(lol)
