Install the demo!
Install the original game or a copy with fullgame option!
The copy all files from "wdfiles" directory of your full game into the "wdfiles" of your demo directory.
You now have access to the skirmish modus, so you can play nearly all scenarios and selfmade scenarios.
You can copy your "players" directory from original into demo, so you can continue saved games additionally!
