Simple questions please answer
Can someone answer these simple questions for me please.
I have a V4 with a messiah modchip. To copy a PS2 game (DVD) can you just burn off a straight copy with a DVD writer or do you have to put a patch in first as you would with a PC game? Can you copy a PS2 (CD) game with a CDRW straight off or do you have to put a patch in first as with a PC game? Thank-you, I'm sure one of you fine people out there can answer these simple questions no problem. Is there a really simple step by step guide to doing it somewhere for all games in general as opposed to individual games as I've noticed in the ripping section. Thanx for all your help in advance. yours Jimmy |
Look through some of the earlier threads..
For DVD format games use DVD-R, For CD format use CD-R and generally only about PS1 games are need of patching and if you're converting NTSC to PAL then it requires and Vice versa.. |
MMMMMMMMMmmmmmm
So is that a yes then?
sorry I didn't really understand |
Answers:
1. To copy a DVD based game with a DVD writer.... I would suggest using Primo DVD.... Here is a step by step tutorial on how to make a working backup of a DVD based PS2 game using Primo....Primo DVD Tutorial  2. To copy a CD based game with a CD writer.... I would suggest using Clone CD and a 100% compatible writer... If your burner is 100% compatible with Clone CD, you can make a 1:1 copy of it and not have to patch it.... Go here to see if your burner is compatible: Clone CD supported writers! Hope this info help you out.... |
