codename outbreak with windows xp
 

Does anyone know if codename outbreak is compatable with windows xp?
The install went ok, and the video and sound options configured ok too. One message it did say was that I was using windows 2000 and my mouse may stick (though it is windows xp, I think it may have just detected ntfs).
When I run game, the first logo screen is shown, but then the screen goes black and nothing else happens.
Anyone have some advice I could use?
