huge problem, huge doubt
 

Hi all,

i Have a LG CD-RW-WRITER(GCE 8240B - 24x-10x-40x) and here is my problem:

I can make any ps2 backup using nero... just using CloneCD, but that´s fine... now if i make a backup and try to patch a ppf file on it, then my game does not work, the ps2 boots, but i get a black screen and the laser try to read, then stop, try to read again, then stop... and that´s go all the way.
If i make a backup and DO NOT apply any patch, the game works..
I used before it an HP CD-WRITER and everything worked for me(including Nero).
Can anyone help me????
The patch that i´m trying to use is the translation patch for W.E.6(ppf)

the winning eleven six patch doesnt work
ive been unable to locate a working one yet

that´s not only with W.E.6... it happens on W.E.5 too!!!

please, help!
