Jedi outcast nocd problems

multi nocd crashes after 5 min! i get cl_parse packet error anyone know how to fix????

Segageo64 09-04-2002 05:22

It should work

If you got the patch from GCW it should work fine, so it must be something else. Try uninstalling the game and reinstalling the fix just to make sure. I've been playing the game without a CD for a long time now.

3 Different Machines

I have tried this one three different machines, all with different configurations.

I still get the packet error on all three machines, after a random amount of time.

It doesn't matter if I'm hosting a game or joining one, I still get the same error, I even get if if I'm hosting a game without being connected to anyone else!

It is really starting to s$%t me

Anyone found a fix for this?

Angel1610 12-04-2002 01:09

Yeah.. very difficult...... let me try to explain.......
I have tried it too but when i started a Internet Game it worked fine... also when I play the single player......

.. but i have the same error when I try to play on LAN.

When you have the problem on LAN try this..... use two different serials or two different games and then.. it will work.................

I have asked two frieds and they have the problems on LAN...
I think the game chrushes because your serial is double......

Use 2 different serials? I have the german version of JK II but i can't find any serial. Are you sure that JK II needs a serial? Ok, I haven't tried the multiplayer part but if the game needs a serial LucasArts maybe forgot to ship the german version with a serial...

Hm what No CD Crack did u use, i have the the Problem with the German No-CD Crack, but the English works fine for me...

aztec 14-04-2002 17:55

I used the English NO CD file.

You dont have to enter a serial number when you install the game, and the game will crash regardless of the fact. I had troubles getting the network going, so I was playing a solo - multiplayer game, with no connection (physical or otherwise) between the two machines, and it still crashed.

I think it is an issue with the NO CD fix....

Who can help ?

pussyass2 22-04-2002 10:07

I had the same problem... I used another fix, Jedi Knight II V 1.0 SP/MP [English] No-cd #2 by Bughunter/Evo
P.S undo your previous fix.. Hope you have original exe backed-up

Do that and it will work fine

mmurp88 25-04-2002 03:07

Alternately, go look here. This fixed my problem. :)

Ummm...Errr...Uuuuhhh...Different problem. Nevermind. Heh.

I had this problem, though. In the end, I just burned a copy of the CD and used it, instead of using the No-CD patch.
