Please help with Metal Gear Solid!

I need help making a back up of the Metal Gear Solid Second CD. I used a patch for the first one and it worked. I tried the patch on the second and it didn't work. I tried not using a patch and still did not work. Should I be using a different patch for the second CD?
The software I used so far is Nero Burnning Rom, Adaptec Easy CD Creator, and CDR Win . This is getting frustrating can someone help!

I've followed instructions on how to make a copy using Nero and Win CDR. What am I doing wrong?

HI M8TY
I don't quite know what your problem seems to be because there's no need to patch metal gear solid as there is no protection on the original version pal/ntsc.
Is your cdr/rw 100% clone compatible?, Try www.elaborate-bytes.com to see compatible list, if so use clone cd and the clony detection program (www. cdmediaworld.com)
Use the detection program to detect the protection and start clone up from there and it will pass on the protection settings.
(advise you only read at max 8x and write at max 4x)
Otherwise use cdrwin (but not a cracked version,as the program is very well protected) and using the default settings that are set at install, read audio and data at max 2x and then write at 4x.
The evalution version runs at 1x so it's long winded but there is less chance of you making coasters.

it is not a protected game so just use clone cd, burn at 2x or 4x and you should be ok, good luck
