registry inport error (help please!!)
 

alright, i got the heroes of might and magic 3 complete no cd crack (thank u by the way whoever did that) and it comes with a registry file i have to import into the registry, well, i did what it said, edited the file to go with my computer specififications but when i try to import the file i get and error that says "cannot import C:\Windows\Desktop\Heroes~1.reg: the specified file is not a registry script. You can import only registry files" if anyone can help id appreciate it!

i think you have an older operative system such windows 9x.I don't know how to import this key file to your registry but try to change the file extension from .key to .reg .This should run but i don't asure it.Advice.....change to windows me at least(i'm not an micros*** man x'D)(win 98 osr should work too)

all registry keys need to have "REGEDIT4" as the first line
