Nascar 4 help.. Plz reply
 

I used CDCopy to do a 1:1 burn of nascar 4 at 1x. I have a new HP cd writer, and the burn was successful. However, when I run it using the backup CD, the game wont run but wont give me an error. I need to know the steps to take on to run N4 w/ a backup CD.

I downloaded the NO CD-Crack on gamecopyworld, but it sees the .exe has changed when playing online & prohibits you from going any further.

If anyone has any experience with this, please let me know. Im advanced in computers, but new to this scene.

A friend of mine made a backup for a bunch of us. We were unable to install it using the backup, and had to use the original to install. I use a backup to run the game and dont seem to have any problems. As far as the patch goes, I downloaded it also, but have not installed it. I have read that alot of people, like yourself are having trouble playing online with it. Sorry I gave you no help once so ever, but just figured I tell you what I know.

I could not play online with this game so i went to www.onlineracing.net and it works fine.

so you got it working w/o the cd, using patch 1.1 for multiplayer? I looked at the site, and dont see anywhere, where i can do this. Even using their redirector instructions, says u need the cd

The protection is Securom "New". You need to use CloneCD with both subchannel settings on and read x4. Also the disc will not work in the writer (hope you have another drive). Your HP may not be supported by CloneCD. You will have to ##### the website at Elaborate Bytes.

That's funny. I burned it exactly as you said. But the backup only works in my writer and not in the cd rom.
