Diablo's New Patch by dARWIN
 

I have just successfully installed dARWIN's new patch for 1.08 but not without grief. The patch works but the instructions for a newbie like myself need some editing. Afer you have updated to version 1.02 Copy the "Dload" file and the "Game_crk" file to your game directory. Connect to bnet and update to the 1.08v. Once complete, leave the game. Remove the CD. Delete the "Game_crk" file you copied to the game directory. Copy "Game_crk2" to the directory and rename it to "Game_crk". Execute the game with the "DLoad" file.

P.S. I never used "Game_crk2Win2k" and all though they are .exe files non of them were labelled .exe in the new patch.

If you are not using an authentic copy of the game it might create a problem. Try sending to dARWIN or try ####://jamella.cjb.net/ for more pro help I'm just a rookie.
