Clive Barkers Undying
 

Just bought Clive Barkers Undying and was going to make a back-up copy but it won't let me. Anyone know how???? Thanks....

This disk uses SafeDisk 2, which makes it hard to copy. I used a really cheezy way to make a backup and it worked just fine. I opened to CD directory in Windows Explorer, and then just made sure I was able to view all files, Selected all, and then dragged and dropped it into a directory on my harddrive.

Then I created a data disk with all the files and directories from my copy on my harddrive, just using a simple write program. I then installed from this copy and everything went fine, except the game won't run as it detects your disk as not the original. However, download the no-cd patch, and you will have a fully functioning game.

So while the backup process isn't great, it works, and you could even include the no-cd .exe on your new data disk for future backup use.

Where do you find the no-cd fix? I've looked all over and can't find it. It's not in the GCW database that I can find. Suggestions or links of where I might find it?

i have tried using clonecd to read the image and burn it but it still doesn't work. what were the settings that you used?

YOU must have a burner that is not affected by this protection. JUSt some drives can back this up you just have the right one. The other guy might not have the rithgt burner and so not beable to copy UNdying.

i did it the way yoiu said and it work.Thanks. I made about 5 Coasters trying to burn this game and nuthing.

I have tried clonecd and the EA sports games just do not copy. It hangs forever... and cannot read some of the files. The only german I know is "Lichten mein Hosenschlange". Has anyone tried the German patch and does it work?
