did anyone successfully backup "Patrizier 2"?? - german game

Hi,

I want to backup my copy of Patrizier 2, but it won't work - neither with nero 5.0.2.2 nor with WinOnCD 3.6

Clone CD doesn't support my CD-Writer (Plextor). I wonder why?

I believe, the copy protection consists of foru extra audio/ data-files. I was able to copy them with nero but the cd still won't work. I actually only need a patch to prevent the check for the cd-rom, cause I can fully install the game.

Thanx for any help

Yeah, copy succesfully, but only with CloneCD!

Made backup without problems and it works fine....

My burner: Plexwriter 12x10x32x

Have Phun

P.S. No other Copy possible, only clonecd...so try to get the newest version, then your burner work, i think...

bye

I did it!

You have to get BlindRead 3 and you must make an image using the 2nd Method of BlingRead (in german "Mehrere Ringe") and not the "Nibbles"-Method also you have to create a CueSheet too, not only the BlindWrite File. So the making of the image will take 20 Minutes not more ;)

Now you have to get a CueSheetEditor (you can get it at GameCopy- or CDMediaWotld). Load the Editor and open the Patrizier2Pre.cue. Delete Track 2 and 3 (the audio tracks). Now get CDRWin3.8 and burn the manipulated CueSheet to CD-R (74Min.).

The only thing I need now is a no CD-Crack. I can see all files, I can install the game, but when I want to start it, the game asks for the original CD :(

Please let me know when there is a crack, thx!

Yes, Plextor 12/10/32 has no probs at all, read max, write max...
Plextors should be supported by Clone CD - as stated before get a newer version (2.8.3.1 is good i think) !!
