Searched the boards and found no answer, not a repeat question, need help...

Ok, this is the third time Ive posted.. Id understand if no one knows the answer but atleast let me know. Like I said Ive searched the board tryin to be a good poster, but I found no answer so thats why Im asking.

Anyways, I need help with centering the screen in a pal to ntsc patched game Ive recently done (Megaman X3 for psx). Ive made about 10 or 15 of the same disc, trying different methods, patches and programs each time and Ive had no luck. I dont have a psx, but rather a ps-one which runs all types of games in any region because of the mod chip in it.. it just doesnt center the screen for you. Needless to say I cant put in a par nor do I own one or a com link to dump the mem and use the y-fix code finder.

Does anybody know another way I could center the screen for play on my tv? Its not the v-hold and like I said I never have any color or sound problems no matter what disc I put in. If someone out there has a par and a com link and wouldnt mind usuing it for dumping the mem for the y-fix code finder Id be more then happy to send you a copy of the bin and cue file so you can try it yourself.T his is my last resort and my last post. Thanx

at last you may have a solution.. go to megagames.com and go to the psx section.. find PSX Utilities on the far right columns on the next page.. Then find the boot disk section and try the different boot disks that they have. there all bin/cue images.. the gameshark cd might also work for you... seems odd you have pal centering but you don't have pal colors.. i usually have the color and centering problem when booting a pal game.. which i don't understand as i have a 7 wire modchip.. anyways. one of the boot disks should work.. you can set it to NTSC turn off modchip protection, center.. etc. hope this owrks and good luck!
