If I was to purchase a mod chip from gamegizmo.com to play backup copies of games on my PS1 model # SCPH-9001, would the Game Enhancer 9 work? The site says that chip does not work with the "new" SCHP-900x machine. just below that, the site says that the 8 wire, prewired Stealth 4 mod chip works in all but the SCPH-100 or the "new" PS one machines. What do they consider "new"? Can you please help me choose the chip I need?
