go to www.megagames.com to get u started, i'm not sure whether they have a guide for doing ps2 games but i know they have a good set of instructions for doing psx games.

If u r new to the copying world i recommend that u practice backing up a few playstation one games first (if u or someone u know has a chipped psx that is), then move on to a game that needs patching like crash team racing or dino crisis and then take a look at doing ps2 games. That way at least u'll know the basics of backing up cdz and u should find the whole process a lot easier (and cheaper) .... in theory. Because as far as i know (which isn't really that far) all ps2 games need to be patched in order for them to work with the swap trick.

ps2 games dont need patching if you have neo2 plus action replay they only need patching if your ps2 is jap and your using the utility disk

Animal 20-03-2001 15:06

yeah, but u can still do the swop trick without chipping your psx can't u? You just remove the white lock disc already in the machine and place it on top of the disk and if u do it that way then the games need to be patched ... or so i was told =p

P.S the description above is a little brief, but i know there is quite a bit of timed swapping needed when doing it that way.

Go to this site www.ps2ownz.com. It answers all of your "burning" questions. Heh.
