help copying ps2 games
 

hi all, im kinda new to copying ps2 games. i have done ###ne and dreamcast games and want some information about copying ps2 games. i know that there is a lot of information on this site but it is hard sometimes to know what is real and what someone might be making up. first i want to know if you can make direct copies of ps2 games like you could with the ps one games. if you can do this what program do yo use. right now i have been doing all my burning with adaptec and disk juggler2. do you i need a mod chip to play these or do they play like the dreamcast and need nothing or do they need a bootdisk? i have been reading alot about the switch tech. where you put in a gameshark and then put in your copied game, is this the way that most people play their copied games. well, any hlep that you might want to give me will sure be appreciated. thanx

yes you can copy direct from original just the same way as you would a ps1 game......
i use clonecd i have no problems so far using it...
you need a neo2 chip with action replay ver 1.3 for uk ps2 or gameshark ver 1.3 for us ps2 which acts as a boot disk similar to the way the dreamcast boot disk works it stops the disk then you insert backup...hope this helps....
