Heh all this crazy commotion on Irc just for nfl2k2
 

With yesterdays release of nfl2k2 there must have been hundreds of newbies asking where to get it and some other fools who were trying to trick ppl into serving in their bs chan in exchange for it. Luckily for me I got it off some distro in my chan and didnt have to go through all that queue bullshit. What I'm trying to say is that the damn newbies really screw up the flow of game releases with their spamming and begging for 0-day bullshit. Its only so good that no one bothers to help them ;).

Well fortunately for this noobie, I know enough to bypass IRC all together to avoid the other noobies and go straight to the newsgroups. No Queues, No begging, No bitching. Pure and simple )

IRC is still the place to get it though. How often can you really find a website that will have ALL the files you need? Hard to find nowadays, I know. Then there are FTPs or Big Red H, in which you either have to beg for an account or upload a whole bunch of crap just to get the first few files, due to the damn ratios.

Whereas IRC, there is always at least one person who has it all. There are no host providers that destroy his files or stupid idiots, like on FTP, who get off on deleting files. Not to mention those who host on IRC usually have great connections and as long as you have a great connection, high CPS (mine is in the upper 50s), and set it to a large packet size. Your straight, not only that, you can auto-resume on IRC.
