MS Office File Compressor/Optimizer

This tool compresses/optimizes your docx/docxm/pptx/pptm/xlsx/xlsm files and significantly reduces the size to give you a smaller sized file. The output file can be directly opened by MS Office, you don't need to decompress it. I only have MS Office 2007, so I don't know if it will work for other editions too or not.

Thanks

Here's a sample that how much you will be able to reduce

So, it recompresses the file with ZIP deflate at a higher compression ratio; it is not known how well non-Microsoft Offices support it. Also, I think this level of EXE protection is overkill; if I didn't know where it came from, I wouldn't even run it.

Yep, exactly for the algo.

The protection is not for protection actually, it's for compression mainly. A regular delphi executable is about 2.5mb, not worth for an application with a few lines of codes.

I recommend UPX: it can decompress executables compressed with itself. (I'm an EXE size maniac, too. :)) Also, malware scanners have built-in UPX decompressors so their job becomes easier.
