I guess using lz4 is 3xDVD5
Will test soon PS: Use MMC=plz4+srep+LZMAII (config0.txt), then choose MMC in UltraARC |
Well done this as Dvd9 and got 3 x Dvd9 7.76gb and 1 Dvd5 4.26gb and not set up anything just did as was no settings changed in compression etc and it took around 40 minutes to convert it all so not bad and takes around 25 mins or so to install which about average for some game convos now...
See some of you having trouble installing the gaem, it works fine on my system as well did on Laptops as wel and all installfine so its not the installer it has to be your sytem that at fault..... |
Thanks GTX590. Conversion and installation had no error for me. I used srep+lzma and got 5 DVD5s
but the game is not running and also there is no error. with the original setup I can run and play the game without any problem. I found the problem. the install location address has a "™" and is like this: "Need for Speed™ Payback". I removed the ™ and problem solved |

My conversion doesn't support the compression method you are using!!
The error message says: Unsupported compression method. NFS PB uses OodleRec compression. Choose one of these: [14] xOodle + SREP + LZMA [15] xOodle + SREP + LOLZ |

Are you sure it use oodle? I don't have the game. xOodle is xtool: oodle (which is broken by xtool). I will remove this option in next release of Ultraarc anyways. However, to use OodleRec, you have to use option [18] Custom compression. And because I don't know which oodle version is used for the game, you have to use either oo2reck, oo2recm or oo2recs (use oodle detector from tools folder to know). |
