1. Install the game. Update game to latest version, apply NO-CD if necessary.

2. Download attachment, extract to HD, NOT in Gamefolder.

3. Run UltraARC, Browse/Select Your installed game, then choose output location.

4. Test the conversion, before burning ISO.

5. Then burn folder contents to DVD.

Error when trying to install. any ideas?

Obviously an issue with reflate, try doing conversion just using base srep,lzma.
I'll see about redoing conversion with 2038b see if that does same for you.

which one base or base+dlc

Base+Dlc lol! took forever to finish and now doing it again??? that sucks lol!

^ no you might not have to redo conversion, Ill try the newer 2038B & just use that setup.exe with your archived files.

Try the fixed setup.exe, just replace the exe in output folder.

Droppo, can you tell us what was the result of conversion size with reflate?

Even with unmodded 2038 from simorq there are errors with reflate.

Have write to simorq for a solution.

But for now i have only tested on non-reflate files. Have this game reflate streams? It can be that with files that not contain any reflate streams this error apppears.

8dvd5 = 33.2gb

I've used Srep+lzma:
result is: 13 DVD5s
the last DVD is 1.33GB

Size of original files: 57.5GB
Size of compressed files: 53.6Gb

so it doesn't worth it to use this method. I'm gonna use another method.

Droppo can you tell me which method you have used an get the 8DVD result? there are more than 90k files in this game and I can't test different method.

look to post 3 image, he probably used reflate as well as srep,lzma

Do yourself a favour and just test some smaller files with reflate, then extract with setup.exe

Both CLS reflate and ReflateAPI have errors atm.

I recommend to use zlib, try with m1/m2 switch in arc ini

Yeah... well I have tested both methods and this is what i got...

Game size with DLCs= 57.6GB
Reflate+SREP+LZMA2= 8DVD5= 33.2GB (errors when trying to install)
PZLIB+SREP+LZMA= 13DVD5= 53.5GB (Haven't tested yet)

I will look at that. Give me some time.

Are you sure this is correct? Only png files have any streams.

Could it be that UA has aborted at some point (failed to create data#.bin)?

Don't think so... anyways I will make it compress again to see if you're right this weekend

You should have Data1 - Data4 slices if you don't have touched treshold

since the last time I posted I haven't tryed anything with this game but now I wanna finish it using pZlib...
