1. Install the game. Update game to latest version V1.1.08,+DLC, apply NO-CD if necessary.

1A. Goto Gamefolder, Data_Win32, Data_Win32\Worlds\fcc_main, Data_Win32\Worlds\multicommon, data_win32\worlds\downloadcontent\fcc_dlc30 & REMOVE unneeded language files. ( Reduces game size > 4GB)

1B. Languages other then English, must still leave data_win32\sound_english.*, data_win32\worlds\fcc_main\fcc_main_english.*, data_win32\worlds\multicommon\multicommon_english. *
data_win32\worlds\downloadcontent\fcc_dlc30\fcc_dl c30_sound_english.*, data_win32\worlds\downloadcontent\fcc_dlc30\fcc_dl c30_english.*[/B]
2. Download attachment, extract to HD, NOT in Gamefolder.

3. Run UltraARC, Browse/Select Your installed game, then choose output location.

4. Test the conversion, BEFORE burning ISO's.

6. Then burn folder contents to DVDs with same folder names.

Conversion Time - 4+hours ( depends on hardware )
Install Time - 45 mins

DVD1 - 4.37GB
DVD2 - 4.37GB
DVD3 - 4.37GB
DVD4 - 4.37GB
DVD5 - 4.37GB
DVD6 - 4.34GB

hi, thx a lot for your wonderful job.I have a question.With this method I have 7DVDx5.
Can I compress size of this conversion? Maybe I can choose one of option in "Method" section in UltraArc.exe?(precomp, srep ,etc)

Use NEWEST version of UltraARC V2 & choose ANY of the methods you want.

PS DONT use precomp, takes too long, use srep,delta,lzma will be enough

Thanks for the conversion. For some reason, when I run the UltraARC it compress and splitt just 10Gb of the game into 3 folders and finish, ignoring the other 18gb from the game's main folder.

No, Im selecting the main source that is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Far Cry 4" in my case

I notice the compression works fine with the UltraARC v1.0 that where before.

Yeah. But I dont choose any compression method.

ok will have to test, you have previous version of UA still, use that for now.

Replaced Original version of Conversion which uses V1.1 of UltraARC, until V2 issues can be resolved.

Hi, again, it`s me and I have another problem.(of curse I use previously version 1.1)
after I follow every step,couple folder such as media_1,media_2.....media_7 etc will appear.Inside of every folder have one file such as data1.part1.cab and data1.part2.cab.
How can I join and write them?

Extracted the archive from post 1, inside is folder FC4_1 ... FC4_7 that's where the data from compressing the game should have ended up
simply move the files from your media_1 ... media_7 to proper FC4_1...FC4_7 folders then brurn the contents. No need to do anything
to the files, the installer handles the archives as they were created.

Works for ANY version of game installed, no longer uses data.lst so it
will compress what is installed

From reading other forums there MAY be issues with removing the ENGLISH files if playing in another language. Remove the other languages not needed BUT leave the English language files + your chosen language, see if any issues. Post back results.

Thanks for the conversion, but before I start and mess anything up, do I leave the ff_main_vistas files and do I remove any files from the DLC folder?

leave the English + language of your choice ( if not English ) files but remove the extras from whats listed in first post. Check the DLC but don't think they amount to much, so can leave them.

I use your conversion (v1.0 of UltraARC with srep,delta,lzma).
After it done, I have 5xDVD5 with 20.4 GB size.(~5 hour)

^^ don't know what version of game you have installed, or which updates. Test by installing conversion files & check against original install. Will be updating to latest version of UltraARC once test is complete so no missing files are present.

I try to make DVD 9 version but i get a compression error when installing.I will try to attach the error here.
But in the mean time.
Can you tell me exactly what english files should remain in the game folder?i am trying to make with only one language.
A printscreen would be great of the folders with the languages taken out.Please :D
